Alot of people want to know why buy a pet from us instead of maybe from a cheaper source ? Well.......
That is truely up to you .We cannot change your mind and will not try .
However ,there are some things you should be aware of .
Any breeder either stands by the pets they produce or do not .So here are some question /answer situations that may help you decide .
All should ask questions ...here are alot of the questions you should ask and our answers to them ..
1.... Do you have a vet and does he/she give reference for you ?
Our answer ...yes and we will give you the vet name ,number
2....Do we get verification of shots given ? Does a vet give them ?
Our answer ...yes ...our vet gives all shots and you get a record from our vet of that .
3...Do you have a guarentee ?
Our answer ...yes , 30 days for any reason ,take back for life ,1 yr genetic , will help to rehome the puppy /pet at anytime ,will replace puppy if it is our fault the puppy passes away for 30 days after you recieve it .
4..... Do you have references ?
our answer ...yes and we expect the same of you
5.... Do you sell to brokers /pet stores ?
our answer ...NO !!!!
6.... Do you ship ?
Our answer...Only when we have to and then we use only Ameican Airlines
7..... Why are you higher than some and lower than others in price ?
Our answer ...We are higher than some because we do not sell to pet stores and brokers ,we do not put out hundreds of puppies per year .We take care of our adults and our puppies and all are vetted and a puppy from us will see a vet 3 to 6 times before they come to you .We also do rescue in our area and any monies left from sales of Our puppies go to take care of our rescues . Breeders that have vets ,puppies and parents vetted ,the right food ,the right shots ,the right wormers ,toys ,heat ,cooling ,even the water they drink have to be paid for and if you have quality puppies ,you must have quality adults and all is expensive and as in any business ,you must be able to meet that and save for a day when you cannot .Thus , our prices reflect our costs .
We are lower than some because we do not think we are 'above the fold ' because we have sold to a 'STAR" or just the average joe like ourselves .We have customers from all walks of life ,we do not 'use ' the 'stardom ' issue to sell our puppies .We use common sense and our work ,word of mouth and our devotion to our pets,breeders, puppies ,birds, cats and our family and God as our issue .We are proud to be Poos4u .
8...How often do you breed your moms ?
Our answer ...once a year
9.....Why do you want references from us ?
Our answer ....You are important to me as a customer .When you purchase a puppy ,you are purchasing a life ,my baby will soon become yours .I want to know you as well as I can and be able to contact you if you move ..As you having references from me does to a point ensure you are getting a good puppy ,I want to make sure I am getting a good family for my babies .
10....Do you recommend other breeders ?
Our answer ...Only if I have bought from them or had alot of positive feedback . No breeder can stake their reputation upon another and no breeder should talk bad about another they do not even know . That in itself is a sign of a bad breeder .Unless they can prove they bought a dog from someone that is bad and that person sold it intentionally that way , then they can only say 'I cannot give reference " However " I cannot give reference " should be said period in any situation .If you see a breeder network or other ,it is puppy mill city ! Such as Diva Pet and other online Puppy Sites .
Breeders that talk 'bad 'about others are usuallly trying to get themselves up the maypole and are not reputable . Breeders that try to cause trouble between other breeders are not reputable ...and there are a few out there are are Miss Busy Bodies that send e-mails to other breeders about other breeders ,they even make calls saying this or that is happening in another kennel and then call that kennel and say the other person said this was at your Kennel . If a person says 'E-mail me for details on another breeder or on this or on that on their site or on the phone " Please ,Please take care and do NOT buy from them !!
If a breeder tells you they bought a puppy from me and are breeding it ,then let me know ...because I have never given but one person the permission to do so and that is Denise . They have breached the contract I have and are not worthy to breed my babies .
11.....Do you have a kennel or other on your property ?
Our answer ...Yes . Just about everyone that breeds ,whether it be crossbreed or purebreed does .If they have more than 6 to 10 dogs ,they gotta have somewhere besides the living room to put them and their puppies .
Mine are 3 small buildings that have seperate areas for each dog ,beds ,food ,water ,toys and a doggie door that leads to an outside run area .Similar to a kennel if you go and kennel your dog while you are away .
12 .....Where do you raise your puppies .
our answer ...once we put the mom and dad together ,the mom is in our home . We raise all of our puppies in our home .We socialize from the beginning and most are very spoiled and people /children friendly when they leave .
We do not use cages nor do we support those that do .
